About Me: I started carfree chicago because I wanted to make it easier for the one million carfree Chicagoans to get around the Chicago region by foot/bike and transit. One day I had an itch to get outside the city for a hike in the woods, and I realized that all of the directions online were by car. I decided I'd try to fill the hole in information by helping others share and find information about living carfree.
