How to use this guide

Which stations do you stop at for the best shopping, parks, restaurants, beaches, or entertainment? Can you run all of your after-work errands on the walk between your station and your house? Looking for a fun afternoon excursion or a new neighborhood to call home? The Train Stop Guide uses Walk Score and user ratings to help you figure out which stations are in the middle of walkable neighborhoods or near great attractions. Use the guide to learn what tips transit riders in other parts of the city have to share and to leave behind your own tips.

Explore: Use the search box on the right to narrow down the stations. Find stations in more walkable areas by entering a minimum Walk Score (example: try a minimum Walk Score of 80 for a good threshold of walkability). Search by keyword to find stations by name and search comments other visitors have left behind (example: beach, park, Rockwell). Click on a station marker to see its name, user rating, Walk Score and train lines, then click on the station name to view the station's page for more information and to add your own rating and comments.

Rate: After opening a station page, rate the station on a scale of 1-5 stars based on the surrounding neighborhood and attractions within walking distance. 5 stars means it's a great station to live near without a car and the area is a great place to visit by train and foot. 1 star means you will be miserable if you get off at this station and don't have car parked at the adjacent parking lot.
